Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley
On arrival, transfer to your HOTEL in the Sacred Valley with an en route tour of the Museo Inkariy which brings pre-Columbian Peruvian cultures
to life. Two nights at your HOTEL.
Day 2: Sacred Valley
This morning, you will be taken on a tour of the archaeological ruins of Chinchero and a beautiful 17th century colonial church. After lunch, continue with a visit to Ollantaytambo where you will visit its town which has been inhabited continuously since Inca times. Climb its iconic fortress before being transferred back to your HOTEL. (B, L)
Day 3: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu
Today you will journey through the scenic Urubamba Valley to Machu Picchu, for a guided tour of the site. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L)
Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco
This morning, is at leisure to revisit Machu Picchu on your own. Machu Picchu is one of the great wonders of the world and is one of the most iconic images of South America, so is well worth another visit. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to the train station where you will board the Vistadome Train back to Cusco. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL for your two-night stay. (B)
Day 5: Cusco
Today you will be taken on a city tour of Cusco. Visit Qoricancha (The Temple of the Sun), the imposing Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. (B)
Day 6: Cusco
Today you will be met and transferred to Cusco Airport for your onward flight. (B)
