DAY 1: QUITO
On arrival at Mariscal Sucre International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL your overnight stay. On arrival, enjoy a briefing about your upcoming tour.
DAY 2: QUITO – COCA – AMAZON CRUISE
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Coca Airport (included). Upon arrival, you will enjoy a scenic 90-minute canoe ride along the Napo River, before boarding your Amazon cruise. Later, enjoy an introductory briefing from naturalist guides, before your cruise begins. In the evening, enjoy a nocturnal forest walk. Three nights onboard. (B, L, D)
DAY 3: AMAZON CRUISE
Today you will explore the incredible Piranha Lake, home to piranhas, giant paiche fish and caimans. You will have the opportunity to spot monkeys and exotic birds on nature walks, before enjoying an Amazon-style BBQ lunch. Later, enjoy kayaking and swimming in the lagoon. Afterwards, enjoy an engaging lecture on-board. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: AMAZON CRUISE
Today you will visit one of the Amazon’s mineral-rich clay licks, where hundreds of parrots gather. Afterwards, visit a local Quechua community to learn about their ancestral traditions. Continue to an observation tower from which you can view the canopy, enjoying sunset views over the Amazon Basin. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: AMAZON – QUITO
After breakfast, you will enjoy a final canoe journey to Coca, where you will be met and transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Quito (included). On arrival, you will be transferred to your HOTEL. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided city tour, visiting Independence Square, the iconic La CompañĂa de JesĂşs Church, the San Francisco Church and Monastery, and El Panecillo. (B)
DAY 6: QUITO – GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to the Galapagos Islands (not included). Upon arrival in either Baltra or San CristĂłbal, board your cruise where you will spend three nights on-board. (B, D)
DAYS 7 – 8 : GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
Spend these two days exploring the remarkable Galapagos islands. Enjoy daily excursions such as snorkelling, kayaking and on-shore nature walks. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: GALAPAGOS ISLANDS – QUITO
Today you will be transferred to either Baltra or San CristĂłbal Airport, boarding your onward flight to Quito. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your HOTEL for your overnight stay. (B)
DAY 10: QUITO
Today you will be transferred to Mariscal Sucre International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your journey. (B)
