Paraty Getaway

Overview

Surrounded by mountains and a spectacular coastline, the small town of Paraty has been awarded the UNESCO World Heritage status for its beautifully preserved Portuguese colonial architecture and cobbled streets. This is a great place to wander through the pretty streets adorned with elegant white buildings or you can enjoy the bars and charming little restaurants that offer delicious local cuisine including mouth-watering seafood. Alternatively you can simply relax on one of the beautiful white sandy beaches of the area.

Itinerary

DAY 1: RIO DE JANEIRO – PARATY
Today you will take a 4-hour bus ride to Paraty, where you will check in at your HOTEL for your two night stay. The afternoon is at leisure for you to explore Paraty.

DAY 2: PARATY
Today, after breakfast, you will be taken on a boat trip to the outer islands. The trip will have 4 stops at different islands, where there will be time to swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters surrounding these islands. Alternatively, you can explore the beautiful beach areas before the boat departs to the next island. You will also have lunch at one of the beach restaurants along the way, before returning to your HOTEL. (B, L)

DAY 3: DEPART PARATY
Today you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the bus for your transfer back to Rio de Janeiro, which will mark the end of your tour. (B)
