Paracas and The Nazca Lines

This tour showcases the Nazca Lines, a mesmerising collection of pictures etched into the ground, considered one of the World’s greatest archaeological mysteries of mankind. Cruise to the nearby Ballestas Islands to see a series of naturally formed arches and caves, a perfect shelter for seabirds and sealions.

This morning you will be met in Lima and transferred by bus to Paracas. On arrival you will be transferred to your HOTEL for your two-night stay.

After breakfast you will be taken on a flight over the Nazca Lines to witness the mystical drawings of stylized plants, imaginary beings and geometric figures. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the geoglyphs are thought to have been made by a pre-Inca civilization between 500 BC and 500 AD and are one of archaeology’s greatest enigmas due to their quantity, nature and size.
