Overview

Suasi Island is a private island and the perfect location on Lake Titicaca for those wanting peace and tranquility with no cars, electricity or television. Casa Andina Ecolodge is the only accommodation on the island and offers 24 rustic guestrooms with solar power and beautiful views of the Lake. There are many activities to enjoy including hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and boat trips.

Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO – PUNO
Depart Cusco by coach and travel through the huge landscapes of the Altiplano, enjoying lunch, before arriving into Puno. Overnight at your HOTEL. (L)

DAY 2: SUASI ISLAND
Today you will be taken on a boat ride on Lake Titicaca to visit the Uros, an indigenous community living on floating reed islands. Continue to Taquile Island and Suasi Island for a hike to see varieties of local flora and fauna. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: SUASI ISLAND
After breakfast this morning you will have time to relax and enjoy the views of Lake Titicaca or choose from a variety of activities like nature walks in the National Reserve, canoeing, or learning about the ancient customs of the Andean people. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: TRIP CONCLUDES
Today, you will be transferred to Juliaca airport, Puno. (B)
