DAY 1: HAVANA
On arrival at Havana Airport, you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL for your two-night stay.
DAY 2: HAVANA
This morning, you will visit old Havana town. Highlights include the Cathedral Square, Plaza de Armas and Plaza Vieja. After exploring Havana’s colonial architecture and heritage, you will enjoy a Cuban lunch at one of Havana’s restaurants. Afternoon at leisure. (B, L)
DAY 3: HAVANA – VINALES
After an early breakfast, you will travel by road to Vinales in Pinar del Rio. Overnight at a local HOTEL. (B)
DAY 4: VINALES
Today you will explore Pinar del Rio, taking in natural and man-made wonders, including the Prehistoric Mural, Los Jazmines lookout and the Indian Cave where you will enjoy an underground boat ride. (B)
DAY 5: VINALES – HAVANA
After a morning at leisure you will be transferred by bus to Havana. (B)
DAY 6: HAVANA – BARACOA
Early this morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cuba’s oldest and most isolated town, Baracoa. Here you can wander along the waterfront, visit the beautiful beaches or admire the city’s iconic fortress. In the evening, your guide will lead you around town to experience a typical night out in Cuba. (B)
DAY 7: BARACOA
Today is at your leisure to explore the town and surrounds. (B)
DAY 8: BARACOA – SANTIAGO DE CUBA
After a morning at leisure, you will be taken by bus to Santiago de Cuba. (B)
DAY 9: SANTIAGO DE CUBA
Today you will be taken on a walking tour of Santiago de Cuba. Your tour will include visits to Loma de San Juan, the Revolution Square, the exterior of the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery and the Moncada Barracks. (B)
DAY 10: BAYAMO
After an early breakfast you will be taken by bus to Bayamo. Here you will discover the city’s rebellious spirit as you enjoy a guided walking tour. Wander through the town centre, Céspedes Park, the Hymn Square and the birthplace of the Cuban revolutionary hero, Céspedes. In the evening enjoy some traditional Cuban music. (B)
DAY 11: BAYAMO – CAMAGUEY
Today you will be transferred to the bus station to board your bus to Camaguey. After a short rest at your hotel, you will be taken to Casa de la Trova, where you will enjoy traditional music and live performances. (B)
DAY 12: CAMAGUEY – TRINIDAD
After breakfast, tour Camaguey’s intricate streets and landmarks like Plaza San Juan de Dios, Ignacio Agramonte Park, and Workers’ Square. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Trinidad and stay in a private house. Enjoy an evening walk with your guide. (B, D)
DAY 13: TRINIDAD
Explore Trinidad’s colonial heritage and the Topes de Collantes nature reserve. After lunch, visit the Escambray Mountains, stopping at La Casa del Café to sample Cuba’s finest coffee. (B, L)
DAY 14: TRINIDAD
Today is at your leisure to explore this beautiful city filled with old colonial houses. (B)
DAY 15: TRINIDAD – CIENFUEGOS – HAVANA
Head back to Havana via Cienfuegos, the “Pearl of the South.” Tour the city, visit La Punta National Monument and the Beny Moré monument. After lunch, continue to Havana. (B, L)
DAY 16: HAVANA
Today you will be transferred to the airport, marking the end of your tour. (B)
