Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVE NAIROBI
On arrival into Nairobi, you will be met by an African Travel Specialists representative and transferred to the
EKA HOTEL for your overnight stay.

DAY 2: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to the Maasai Mara where you will be met and transferred to your game lodge, in one of the best areas of the Mara. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive. Three nights at MARA INTREPIDS. (B, L, D)

DAYS 3 – 4: MAASAI MARA
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara, well known for its multitude of animals and birds living within the reserve. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Enjoy a morning game drive before flying back to Nairobi. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the EKA HOTEL. (B)

DAY 6: NAIROBI – VICTORIA FALLS
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Upon arrival, you will check in to ILALA LODGE for your two-night stay. (B)

DAY 7: VICTORIA FALLS
The lodge is located just a short walk away from the falls. Spend your day exploring the area on a guided tour, helicopter flight, river cruise or other adventure activity (own expense). (B)

DAY 8: VICTORIA FALLS – CAPE TOWN
Enjoy the morning at leisure before being transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Three nights at the PORTSWOOD HOTEL. (B)

DAYS 9 – 10 : CAPE TOWN
Enjoy exploring picturesque Cape Town. You may wish to visit the Winelands, Cape Point, Robben Island or simply wander the waterfront and the city. A trip to the top of Table Mountain is highly recommended. (All activities at own expense). (B)

DAY 11: DEPART CAPE TOWN
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B)

Portswood Hotel

Part of Cape Town’s colonial history, the Portswood Hotel was originally built as a Convict Station with the current restaurant built over the well and holding cells for prisoners en-route to Robben Island. Located on the V&A Waterfront, the 103-room hotel is a mere 22km from Cape Town International Airport.

Avani Victoria Falls Resort

Avani Victoria Falls Resort is located on the eastern cataract of the renowned Victoria Falls and offers guests a warm, fun atmosphere. 212 colourful rooms and suites feature an en-suite bathroom, with some overlooking either the vast African bush or the swimming pool. Dining options include a restaurant serving both African and international cuisines, a poolside bar and grill, and a Boma area.

Eka Hotel

The Eka Hotel Nairobi is a 4-star hotel situated 7 kilometres from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and is within easy access of the city centre. Accommodation is offered in 167 air-conditioned rooms, of which there are suite options and superior rooms. Facilities include a restaurant, a 24-hour cafe, and a wellness centre comprising a spa, swimming pool and gym.

Mara Intrepids

Mara Intrepids sits above a sweeping bend in the Talek River, overlooking the plains of the Masai Mara. The camp has 30 elegant guest tents which sit on a shady raised platform with sweeping views over the riverbanks, and each has a large 4-poster bed, traditional style furniture and modern en-suite bathrooms. The guides at Mara Intrepid are amongst the best in the Mara.
