DAY 1: ARRIVE CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Three nights at the PORTSWOOD HOTEL.
DAYS 2 – 3: CAPE TOWN
Enjoy a full day exploring the highlights of the Cape area, visiting Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope, Chapman’s Peak, Hout Bay and Sea Point. The next morning, you will have a half-day tour of the city and Table Mountain. Afterwards enjoy the afternoon at leisure, using the time to relax or wander around the waterfront area. (B)
DAY 4: CAPE TOWN – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
This morning you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Kruger. (flight not included). On arrival you will be transferred to LUKIMBI GAME LODGE for two nights. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Today you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in one of South Africa’s best wildlife areas. In between the game drives there will be time to relax and enjoy the lodge.
DAY 6: KRUGER – VICTORIA FALLS
This morning you will be transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls (flight not included). On arrival, you will be transferred to ILALA LODGE, where you will stay for the next two nights. (B)
DAY 7: VICTORIA FALLS
This morning you will be taken on a guided tour of the falls known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, ‘the smoke that thunders’. This afternoon enjoy a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, with the chance to spot hippos and crocodiles while admiring an African sunset. (B)
DAYS 8 – 9: VICTORIA FALLS – CHOBE
Today, you will be transferred by road to Chobe National Park in Botswana. Your lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe River, just outside the park and next to a local village. You will have the opportunity to spend the next two days exploring Chobe National Park with morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 vehicles plus boat cruises on the Chobe River. Two nights at CHOBE BUSH LODGE. (B, L, D)
DAYS 10 -11: VICTORIA FALLS – NAIROBI
Today, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your scheduled flight to Nairobi (flight not included). On arrival you will be met by a representative of African Travel Specialists and transferred to the TAMARIND HOTEL for your two-night stay. The rest of your day is at
leisure. (B)
DAY 12: NAIROBI – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
This morning you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu. You will be met and transferred to the camp. After lunch you will embark on the first game drive of your safari, returning to the camp in the late afternoon. Two nights at SAMBURU INTREPIDS. (B, L, D)
DAY 13: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Morning and afternoon game drives and optional bush walks in Samburu National Reserve. (B, L, D)
DAY 14: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE – MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Olkiombo airstrip in the Masai Mara. You will be collected in an open-sided 4×4 vehicle and taken on a game drive en-route to your lodge. Two nights at MARA INTREPIDS TENTED LODGE. (B, L, D)
DAY 15: MAASAI MARA
Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara. The area is host to a spectacular array of wildlife with 320 square kilometres of open savannah, woodlands and tree lined rivers creating an ecosystem which supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species including lion, cheetah and leopard. DAY 16: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred the FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON for an overnight stay. (B)
DAY 17: DEPART NAIROBI
Today you will be taken to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight (not included). (B)
