East Africa is often regarded as the best region in Africa for game viewing. This safari will allow you to experience the best reserves and parks in Kenya and Tanzania, including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Amboseli National Park and the renowned Masai Mara. Spot the ‘Big 5’ and experience the Masai culture as you journey through this unique pocket of the world.

Itinerary

DAY 1: KILIMANJARO -ARUSHA
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Overnight at FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON ARUSHA.

DAY 2: ARUSHA – SERENGETI
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route to OLE SERAI LUXURY CAMP where you will stay for the next two nights. After lunch, depart on a game drive returning in the early evening to your lodge. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: SERENGETI
Today you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO
This morning, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater with a stop en route for a picnic lunch before continuing on to NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE for your two-night stay. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
Today you will travel into the Crater for game viewing in this unique conservation area, with a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is home to an abundance of game including lion, hyena, rhino and a huge variety of plains game. It is also home to a small number of flamingo that live by the lake as well as other aquatic bird life. In the afternoon you will be driven back to your lodge. Visit a Masai Village in the afternoon before returning to your lodge (B, L, D)

DAY 6: NGORONGORO – LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA
Today you will leave the Crater and head to Lake Manyara for a game drive with a picnic lunch. The area is renowned for its tree climbing lions and large herds of elephant. Continue on to Arusha where you will overnight at FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON ARUSHA. (B, L)

DAY 7: ARUSHA – AMBOSELI
After breakfast you will be met and transferred to Amboseli National Park in Kenya, via the Namanga Border Post. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, after which you will enjoy an afternoon game drive. Two nights at OL TUKAI LODGE. (B, L, D)

DAY 8: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Today you will be taken on an early morning game drive, viewing herds of elephant, packs of lions, leopard, over 600 species of bird, and, enjoying views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon rest before departing on an afternoon game drive. (B, L, D)

DAY 9: AMBOSELI – MASAI MARA
Today you will journey to the iconic Masai Mara. Fly from Amboseli to the Masai Mara via Nairobi, before being met and transferred to ENAIDURA LUXURY CAMP where you will spend the next two nights. The camp offers excellent safari tents with private facilities, in one of the best locations in the Mara, especially during the wildebeest migration. Enaidura is also the only camp or lodge with all Gold guides. After lunch, enjoy a game-viewing drive looking out for lion, cheetah and other predators before returning to camp for a wonderful dinner. (B, L, D)

DAY 10: MASAI MARA
Today will be spent on morning and afternoon game drives in search of a variety of wildlife that make this reserve their home. (B, L, D)

DAY 11: DEPART MASAI MARA
Today you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival, and if time permits, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your tour. (B)

Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is set on a crater rim overlooking the Ngorongoro crater described as the eighth wonder of the world. The lodge is built from local river stones and camouflaged with indigenous vines. Designed to blend completely into the landscape. This lodge has 80 chalet-style rooms and a restaurant offering a la carte menus as well as set buffets offering views of the elephants, zebras, and buffalos out on the plains. Ole Serai Luxury Camp

Ole Serai Luxury Camp is ideally located within Central Seronera area of the Serengeti National Park, perched on the banks of the Seronera River. The camp offers 20 luxury tents that are tastefully decorated, and food and beverages are served in the spacious dining tent that offers 180-degree views of the Serengeti.
