This 4-day safari is ideal for those with limited time wanting to see the highlights of the Namib Desert. Explore the Gondwana Namib Park, the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei and the ghostly camelthorn trees of Deadvlei.

Itinerary

DAY 1: WINDHOEK

On arrival at Windhoek Airport you will be met and transferred to THE ELEGANT GUESTHOUSE for your overnight stay.

DAY 2: NAMIB DESERT

Depart Windhoek for the Namib Desert. Today you will have the chance to explore this ever-changing landscape, consisting of towering dunes and diverse colours. Discover the oldest desert in the world, sighting fossilised dunes and exploring Gondwana Namib Park and the famous red dunes this area is known for. Two nights at NAMIB DESERT LODGE. (B, D)

DAY 3: SOSSUSVLEI

Today you will leave early to see the rising sun paint the dunes at Sossusvlei a variety of different colours. You can explore Sossusvlei or Deadvlei on foot, enjoying a picnic lunch under the Camelthorn trees before returning to your lodge via Sesriem Canyon. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature drive to Marble Mountain, enjoying a sundowner drink on arrival. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: NAMIB DESERT – WINDHOEK

Today, you will be transferred by road to Windhoek. (B)
