Sylvia Earle

This purpose-built expedition vessel honours the highly accomplished marine biologist, oceanographer and explorer, Sylvia Earle. The ship features one of the lowest polluting marine engines in the world, with low energy consumption and higher fuel efficiency. The Sylvia Earle will carry an average of 126 passengers and has 74 on board cabins. Cabins and suites are elegantly designed and spacious to give guests the most comfortable experience possible. Between landings, guests can enjoy an on board heated saltwater open air swimming pool and jacuzzi. Guests may also enjoy he gym, sauna or wellness centre. For zodiac excursions the vessel has four dedicated, sea-level launching platforms making boarding as efficient and safe as possible.

Greg Mortimer

The Greg Mortimer is a custom built expedition ship launched in 2019. At just 104 metres long, the Greg Mortimer carries a maximum of 120 guests to the polar regions. The ship’s size and modern ice-strengthened hull offers the chance to explore some of the places that larger ships can’t reach. To ensure best viewing opportunities, the viewing platform folds out hydraulically offering a 360 degree unobstructed views. This ship offers a warm and intimate atmosphere as well as being the most technically advanced.

MS Seaventure

The Seaventure can accommodate 164 guests in 67 staterooms and suites. The Seaventure features a 1-A Super ice class rating, the highest ice class awarded to passenger vessels. This enables the vessel to explore coves, bays, and channels inaccessible to other ships. The Seaventure also offers a host of facilities including a sauna, a fitness center, a custom built citizen science lab, and heated saltwater pool. The common areas are beautifully appointed, and the ship has two kitchens, including one on the Lido deck for al fresco dining when weather permits.

Ocean Nova

The Ocean Nova is one of the vessels used for the fly/cruise expeditions in Antarctica. It is a modern and comfortable ship built in Denmark in 1992. Fully refurbished in 2006, her ice-strengthened hull is ideally suited for expeditions in Antarctica. Ocean Nova accommodates 68 passengers in comfortable outside cabins with private facilities (single, twin and triple) and has a glass-enclosed observation lounge, dining room, bar, library, small gym, infirmary and a fleet of Zodiac boats ideal for cruising and wildlife watching. The departures in 2023/24 include a return flight between Punta Arenas in Chile and King George Island in the South Shetland archipelago and is ideal for those wanting to avoid the notorious Drake Passage.
