DAY 1: MEXICO CITY
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL for your three-night stay.
DAY 2: MEXICO CITY
Today you will be taken on a tour of Mexico City visiting the historic centre, including, Zacalo (Main Square) and the National Palace. Continue to the Shrine of Guadalupe then visit the site of Teotihuacan “Where men become gods”. There will be time to climb the amazing pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, as well as visit the other buildings, Avenue of the Dead and The Citadel. (B)
DAY 3: MEXICO CITY
Day at leisure to explore Mexico City. (B)
DAY 4: MEXICO CITY – OAXACA
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Oaxaca (additional cost). On arrival, you will be taken to the archaeological site of Monte Alban, one of the first cities built in the Americas, as well as the Ball Court, the Palace and Observatory. Two-night stay at your HOTEL. (B)
DAY 5: OAXACA
Today begins with a tour of Oaxaca, founded in the heart of a wide valley, located 1500m above sea level. Visit the Santo Domingo Church and the Dominican ex-convent. (B)
DAY 6: OAXACA – VILLAHERMOSA
Today you will be transferred to your flight to Villahermosa (flight at additional cost). On arrival you will be transferred to your HOTEL. (B)
DAY 7: VILLAHERMOSA – MERIDA
Today you will be taken to the archaeological site of a fascinating Mayan city – Palenque – known for some of the best sculpture and bas relief carvings produced by the Mayans. You will then be transferred to your flight to Merida (additional cost). Two nights at your HOTEL. (B, L)
DAY 8: MERIDA
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon you will travel south to visit the archaeological site of Uxmal. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful Mayan cities due to the size of its buildings and carved frescoes. In the evening, you will enjoy a sound and light show. (B, D)
DAY 9: MERIDA – CANCUN
Today you will visit one of the most famous sites in Mexico – Chichen Itza – where you will visit the Observatory, the 70 feet high Pyramid of Kukulkan and the Ball Court, before being transferred to your HOTEL in Cancun for your two night stay. (B, L)
DAY 10: CANCUN
Day at leisure to soak up the many delights of Cancun, known as a beach lovers paradise. (B)
DAY 11: TRIP CONCLUDES
Today you will be transferred to Cancun airport, which will mark the end of your tour. (B)
