Itinerary Details

Day 1 : Pretoria & Soweto

Enjoy a tour of Pretoria and Soweto before the train departs from Rovos Rail Station and heads towards Nelspruit. (D)

Day 2 : Panorama Route

Today is a full day panorama tour of Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window as the train heads for Malelane. (B, D)

Day 3 : Kruger National Park

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Kruger Park, before proceeding towards Mozambique. (B, D)

Day 4 : Maputo

This morning you will be taken on a city tour of Maputo before the train departs for Mpaka in Swaziland. (B, L, D)

Day 5 : Swaziland

Today you will have the chance to explore the Kingdom of Swaziland on a tour, visiting the Swazi Candle and Mantenga Cultural Village. The train then heads to Klaserie, Limpopo. (B, D)

Day 6 : Kapama Game Reserve

Today you will enjoy a game drive in Kapama Game Reserve and a visit to the Hoedspruit endangered species centre. The train then proceeds towards Tzaneen. (B, L, D)

Day 7 : Zimbabwe

Spend the day at your leisure on-board as the train heads towards Oreti, Zimbabwe. (B, L, D)

Day 8 : Great Zimbabwe Ruins

Disembark and enjoy a tour of the Great Zimbabwe monument. (B, L, D)

Day 9 : Antelope Park

Disembark and spend the full day at Antelope Park. Here you can enjoy activities such as canoeing, game drives, horseback game viewing and bird watching (at own cost). Later, the train heads towards Bulawayo. (B, D)

Day 10 : Matobo National Park

Today you will visit Matobo National Park, the grave of Cecil Rhodes and bushmen caves. The train proceeds to Dete. (B, L, D)

Day 11 : Hwange National Park

Spend the full day game viewing in Hwange National Park, before returning to the train as it proceeds towards Victoria Falls. (B, L, D)

Day 12 : Victoria Falls

Arrive at Victoria Falls station. Enjoy a tour of of the village and the falls, followed by a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. (B)
