DAY 1: LUSAKA – MFUWE (LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK)
Today you will fly from Lusaka Airport to Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. Your guide will meet you on arrival and transfer you to your camp. Enjoy a delicious lunch and cup of coffee and settle into your room. Spend the afternoon relaxing or head out on an exciting game drive to see the local wildlife. Three nights at KAKULI CAMP(L, D)
DAYS 2 – 4: SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK
This is a superb area for game viewing, with a choice of game drives in open vehicles or walking safaris with a highly trained guide. South Luangwa is renowned for its fabulous wildlife and excellent birdlife, and without any of the tourist crowds. There are a good number of predators including lion, leopard and hyena, as well as plains game. The concentration of game along the meandering Luangwa River and its lagoons are amongst the most intense in Africa. (B, L, D)
DAYS 4 – 7: SOUTH LUANGWA – LOWER ZAMBEZI
Today you will fly to the fabulous Lower Zambezi National Park. Here you can spend three full days exploring the remarkable wilderness of the Lower Zambezi with experienced and knowledgeable guides. In addition to the traditional game drives and walking safaris, the Zambezi River allows for a variety of additional river based activities such as boat cruises, canoeing safaris and fishing, with the opportunity to catch one of the most exciting species, the Tiger Fish. Four nights at CHONGWE SUITES or similar. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: LOWER ZAMBEZI – LUSAKA
After your morning activity and brunch, you will be met and transferred for your flight back to Lusaka. (B)

Kakuli Bush Camp is a tented camp on the banks of the Luangwa River and is the only bush camp open during the green season. The camp is small and intimate with only 4 ensuite tents constructed from natural materials, all of which overlook the river. The main camp area is comprised of a bar and dining chitenje (lounge), as well as a small library. Activities at the camp include day and night game drives, and guided walks.
Chongwe Suites are located at the confluence of the Zambezi River and its tributary, the Chongwe River. The nine tents at the Chongwe Suites are large, well-appointed safari tents set under thatch, with open-air ensuite bathrooms. Situated under a canopy of albida thorns and surrounded by cool lawns, the tents command fabulous views of the confluence of the rivers from their private decks. Enjoy watching the wildlife that comes to the river to drink, including the spectacular variety of birds found here, as you sip on a cool drink. During the day, enjoy a variety of activities suh as game drives, boat cruises, tiger fishing, walking and canoeing safaris.
