Famous for its national parks and game reserves, Tanzania still remains incredibly beautiful and untouched. This safari visits three of the best – Lake Manyara famous for its tree climbing lions, Ngorongoro Crater with its abundant wildlife that live within the Crater walls and the famous Serengeti, home to nearly 3 million wildebeest and zebra during the migration. The lodges are 5-star and should satisfy the most discerning client.

Itinerary

DAY 1: ARUSHA
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Overnight at ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE. (D)

DAY 2: ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Manyara. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Lake Manyara National Park, in time for a leisurely lunch and an afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara is home to an abundance of animals such as hippo, giraffe, zebra, warthog, leopard and Sykes monkey. It is also known for its aquatic birds. Two nights at LAKE MANYARA TREE LODGE. DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA
Today will be spent exploring Lake Manyara. Enjoy an afternoon bike ride through the nearby Mayoka community village and down to the lakeshore for the opportunity to see flamingos and other birdlife, or enjoy an evening game drive. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER
Today you will travel to Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Your accommodation is perched on the crater rim. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, with its quirky design and unusual chimneys, offers luxury and unsurpassed views. Two nights at NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
Your day will be one of discovery with game viewing in the Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is unique in that most of the wildlife only live within the Crater walls. Lunch will be provided on the Crater floor. (B, L, D)

DAY 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will transfer to Lake Manyara and fly to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, staying at KLEIN’S CAMP for three nights. (B, L, D)

DAYS 7 – 8: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
On both of these days you will have the opportunity to enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives. Bush walks and night game drives are also on offer to see the wildlife in its own habitat. (B, L, D)

DAY 9: DEPART
After breakfast you will be transferred to your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. (B)

Klein's Camp

Klein’s Camp is an exclusive safari lodge situated on the north-eastern edge of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The area offers exceptional year-round Big 5 game viewing and is perfectly placed to experience the annual wildebeest migration that passes through the park. Klein’s Camp is made up of 10 cottages, set on the edge of the Kuka Hills with sweeping views of the valley below. Each cottage is beautifully decorated in a rugged safari style and features an en-suite bathroom, private veranda, hairdryer, mosquito net, safe and underfloor heating. The veranda offers spectacular views and the chance to enjoy game viewing from the comfort of your own suite. There is a swimming pool, a library, a dining room and bar.

Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp

Located in the remote Western Corridor of the Serengeti, Grumeti provides a private Serengeti experience with exclusive game viewing in some of the most secluded parts of Africa’s most famous game reserve. Its rustic yet sophisticated safari tents are tucked into the shade of an evergreen forest on the banks of a tributary of the famous Grumeti River. A resident pod of hippo grunts and grumbles from beneath a layer of luscious green water weeds in the tranquil pool in front of the camp.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is situated on the edge of the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. The design follows the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta (homestead) style. The colonial-style interiors combine silver, gold and ruby colours under banana-leaf ceilings and grass roofs. Each room has a central living area and viewing decks overlooking the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater Lodge can provide some of the best game viewing drives into the crater. Bush walks around the lodge are also available, as well as excursions to Olduvai Gorge.

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

One of the only lodges in Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge features 10 elegant, stilted tree house suites. Each of the tree house suites are luxuriously furnished with elegant decor and unique views into the forest canopy from the viewing deck. The lodge has a boma with a log fire in the evening and a swimming pool and spa offering a range of massages and beauty treatments.

Arusha Coffee Lodge

Arusha Coffee Lodge lies hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation, just outside Arusha. This lodge offers eighteen Plantation Rooms and twelve Plantation Suites. Rooms are split level with large double beds, small lounge areas, open fireplaces, with views of Mount Meru and the coffee plantation. You can enjoy meals in the dining area/lounge or sip on your favourite drinks at the bar. Other amenities include a swimming pool and a garden terrace.
