DAY 1: ARRIVE NAIROBI
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by Richard Ruskin and transferred to FAIRMONT THE NORFOLK HOTEL for your two-night stay.
DAY 2: NAIROBI
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. (B, L, D)
DAY 3: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
This morning you will be met at the hotel reception and begin your safari with a drive to Amboseli National Park. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge at sunset. The next two nights will be spent at AMBOSELI SERENA SAFARI LODGE. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Today you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli National Park, hopefully seeing views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA
This morning you will travel by road to the Namanga Border and cross over into Tanzania, where you will continue to Arusha for a late lunch (own expense). Overnight stay at FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON ARUSHA. (B)
DAY 6: ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. After lunch you will continue to LAKE MANYARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE for your overnight stay. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA – NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, you will depart on a game drive within Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch, you will continue onto NGORONGORO SERENA SAFARI LODGE located on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be your accommodation for the next two nights. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon you will visit a Masai Village. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: NGORONGORO CRATER – SERENGETI
Today is a long but exciting day with most of the time driving through the Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive en-route to MBALAGETI SERENGETI where you will stay for the next three nights. Many clients say this day is one of the highlights of the safari. DAYS 10 – 11: SERENGETI
For the next two days you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives to hopefully see the Wildebeest Migration as it heads North to the Mare River. This park is known for its amazing abundance of plains game and predators especially lions. (B, L, D)
DAY 12: SERENGETI – MASAI MARA
This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be transferred to Kichwa Tembo in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. You will spend the next two nights at KICHWA TEMBO TENTED CAMP. (B, L, D)
DAY 13: MASAI MARA
Today you will be taken on morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Masai Mara is host to the most spectacular array of wildlife with 320 square kilometres of open savannah, woodlands and tree-lined rivers creating an eco-system which supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species, especially lion, cheetah and leopard. DAY 14: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be transferred back to FAIRMONT THE NORFOLK HOTEL for your overnight stay and a farewell dinner. (B, D)
DAY 15: DEPART NAIROBI
This morning you will be transferred to Nairobi Airport for your onward flight. (B)
