DAY 1: ARRIVE ANTANANARIVO
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo. Overnight at PALISSANDRE HOTEL & SPA or similar.
DAY 2: ANTANANARIVO – ANDASIBE
After breakfast, you will be driven to Andasibe, where the afternoon is at your leisure. In the evening, you will be taken on a night walk through the forest, where lemurs, chameleons and owls may be sighted. Two nights at MANTADIA LODGE or similar. (B)
DAY 3: NATURAL RESERVE OF ANDASIBE
Today you will explore the Andasibe Reserve, with the chance to encounter a variety of lemur species. In the afternoon, visit the VOIIMA community reserve, witnessing the efforts of the community to preserve the rainforests. (B)
DAY 4 – 5: ANDASIBE – AKANIN’NY NOFY RESERVE
After breakfast, continue to Manambato where you will depart on a boat transfer along the Pangalones, ultimately reaching the Palmarium Reserve. The next day, visit the reserve, a local village and embark on an evening walk with experienced trackers. Two nights at PALMARIUM HOTEL ANKANIN’NOFY or similar (B)
DAY 6: AKANIN’NY NOFY RESERVE – MAHAMBO
Depart early, embarking early on a boat trip along the Pangalones Canal to Tamatave. After a brief stop here, continue to the coastal town of Mahambo. Overnight at LA PIROGUE HOTEL MAHAMBO or similar. (B)
DAY 7 – 9: MAHAMBO – SAINT MARIE – IIE AUX NATTES
Today you will be transferred by boat to El Condor ferry, continuing onwards to the Island of Sainte Marie. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a beach at the southern tip of the island, where the afternoon is at your leisure. Three nights at SAMBATRA BEACH LODGE or similar. (B)
DAY 10: IIE AUX NATTES – ANTANANARIVO
This morning you will check out of your hotel and check in to your onward flight from Sainte Marie Island to Antananarivo. On arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the city. Overnight at PALISSANDRE HOTEL & SPA or similar. (B)
DAY 11: ANTANANARIVO
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Antananarivo airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your tour. (B)
