DAYS 1– 3: MAUN – MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Upon arrival in Maun, you will be transferred to a shared light aircraft for your flight to the Xakanaxa airstrip in Moremi Game Reserve. On arrival you will be transferred to your private campsite, with a game drive en-route. Spend two days exploring the clear channels, lagoons, rivers and floodplains of Moremi. This area is well known for its wild dog population, as well as resident buffalo herds, elephant and lion. Three nights at your PRIVATE CAMPSITE. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: MOREMI GAME RESERVE – MABABE PRIVATE RESERVE
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day game drive through Moremi, heading north-east towards the Khwai and Mababe areas. Enjoy a mokoro excursion in the backwaters of the Khwai and Mbudi channels along the way. Overnight at your PRIVATE CAMPSITE. (B, L, D)
DAYS 5 & 6: MABABE PRIVATE RESERVE
Spend the next two days exploring the Mababe and Khwai River areas on game drives and, weather permitting, walking safaris. The region is well- renowned for its population of lion, leopard, serval, elephants, giraffe, wildebeest and other plains game. It is also a popular birding destination. Two nights at your PRIVATE CAMPSITE. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: MABABE PRIVATE RESERVE – CENTRAL CHOBE
Today you will head to Central Chobe, taking in the desert-like landscape on a full-day game drive. Overnight at your PRIVATE CAMPSITE. (B, L, D)
DAYS 8 & 9: CENTRAL CHOBE
Over two days explore diverse Central Chobe on game drives, from its rocky volcanic outcrops to the towering dunes of the Kalahari and the endless savannah. Explore the Savuti Marsh, home to lions, elephants, wild dog, and hyenas. You will also have the opportunity to discover the area on local bushman painting walks. Two nights at your PRIVATE CAMPSITE. DAY 10: CENTRAL CHOBE – CHOBE RIVER
After breakfast you will journey toward the Chobe River, arriving in Kasane where you will enjoy a picnic lunch before enjoying an afternoon boat cruise. This marks the end of your tour. (B, L)
