DAY 1: ARRIVE COLOMBO
On arrival at Colombo airport you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL.

DAY 2: COLOMBO – HABARANA
After breakfast, you will be driven to Habarana, the hub of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. En route, you will visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala. The rest of the day will be at leisure to enjoy the nearby nature trail or to take an optional elephant-back safari. Two nights at your HOTEL in Habarana. (B)

DAY 3: HABARANA
After breakfast, you will visit the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa. Afterwards, visit Minneriya National Park, home to some of Sri Lanka’s wild animals – sambar deer, leopard and elephant. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 4: HABARANA – KANDY
After an early breakfast, explore Sigiriya including climbing up the rock fortress. Afterwards, visit the Dambulla Cave Temples before heading to Kandy visiting a spice garden in Matale en route. Two nights at your HOTEL in Kandy. (B)

DAY 5: KANDY
Today, you will visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. The rest of the day will be spent taking a city tour of Kandy. You will be driven around Kandy Lake, which was built by the last Sinhala King. Visit the town of Kandy, the bazaar, an arts and crafts centre and a gem museum /lapidary. You will also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 6: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
After breakfast, you will be driven through the misty mountains up to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Victoria Park. The evening will be yours to explore the town. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 7: NUWARA ELIYA – YALA
After breakfast you will be transferred to Yala. The afternoon will be yours to enjoy at leisure. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 8: YALA NATIONAL PARK
Today, you will enjoy a safari in Yala National Park, famous for its herds of elephants, as well as leopard, sloth bear, crocodile and spotted deer. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 9: YALA – GALLE
This morning you will head to Galle, where, on arrival, you will enjoy a city tour of Galle including Galle Fort. Two nights at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 10: GALLE
Today is a day at leisure to enjoy Galle. (B)

DAY 11: GALLE – BENTOTA
After breakfast you will travel to Bentota with a stop at the turtle hatchery in Kosgoda. Two nights at your HOTEL in Bentota. (B)

DAY 12: BENTOTA
Today is free to enjoy the beach or the other highlights of Bentota. (B)

DAY 13: BENTOTA – COLOMBO
Today you will head back to Colombo with a tour of the city on arrival, including a visit to Pettah Bazaar. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 14: DEPART COLOMBO
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Colombo airport. (B)
