DAY 1: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO

On arrival at Colombo Aiport you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL in Negombo.

DAY 2: NEGOMBO – WILPATTU

After breakfast, you will be driven to Wilpattu where you check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit Wilpattu National Park, where you will be taken on a safari. Famous for its big cats, the park has a large number of leopards, as well as sloth bear, elephants and water buffalo. Afterwards, return to your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 3: WILPATTU – ANURADHAPURA – SIGIRIYA

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Sigiriya. En-route, you will enjoy a guided tour of Anuradhapura, one of the oldest civilisations in the world. On arrival at Sigiriya, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the world-heritage listed rock fortress. Rising 200 metres above ground, Sigiriya was built between 477-495 AD. Afterwards, return to your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 4: SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA – SIGIRIYA

Today you will be driven to Polonnaruwa, where you will enjoy a city tour. The island’s medieval capital was built in the 11th and 12th-century, and is a world heritage site. Many of the city ruins are in excellent condition, and the site features statues, temples and a network of irrigation canals. Afterwards, return to your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 5: SIGIRIYA – DAMBULLA – KANDY
Today you will be driven to Kandy, with an en-route visit to the Dambulla Rock Temple. Overnight at
your HOTEL in Kandy. (B)

DAY 6: KANDY – PINNAWALA – KANDY

After breakfast, you will be taken to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, situated on a 25-acre coconut property. Afterwards, return to your HOTEL. Later, you will have the chance to visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and witness a cultural show. (B)

DAY 7: KANDY – NANU OYA – ELLA

This morning you will proceed to Nanu Oya Railway Station in time to board your train to Ella. (tickets are strictly subject to availability. If tickets are unavailable you will be transferred by road to Ella) in time to board your train to Ella. En-route, visit a tea plantation. Upon arrival to Ella, check in to your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 8: ELLA

Enjoy the day at your leisure. A quaint village in the hills, Ella is a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Spend your day exploring the local tea plantations, on leisurely walks or relaxing at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 9: ELLA – UDAWALAWE – GALLE

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Galle. En-route you will visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe, the primary objective of which is to rehabilitate elephants to return to the wild. Afterwards, continue to Galle via the coastal route. On arrival, check in to your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 10: GALLE – UNAWATUNA – GALLE

After breakfast, proceed to Unawatuna to enjoy on the beach. On completion return back to hotel in Galle and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 11: GALLE – COLOMBO

After breakfast proceed to Colombo and commence sightseeing in Colombo.

DAY 12: DEPART COLOMBO

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Colombo Airport. (B)
