The Golden Chariot – Pride of Karnataka

DAY 1: (SUNDAY) BENGALURU – BANDIPUR
Today you will board the Golden Chariot in Bengaluru. After a welcome and briefing the train will depart for its journey to Bandipur, lunch will be served onboard. Afterwards deboard in Nanjangud before proceeding to an evening safari in Bandipur. Return to the train in time for dinner. Overnight ONBOARD as the train heads to Mysore. (L, D)

DAY 2: (MONDAY) MYSORE
After breakfast, visit Mysore Palace and return to the train for lunch, before the chance for an optional visit to Srirangapatnam. Enjoy dinner onboard. Overnight ONBOARD as the train heads to Halebidu. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: (TUESDAY) HALEBIDU – CHIKKAMAGALURU
After breakfast the train will arrive at Banavar Rly Station where you will visit Halebidu. Afterwards return to the train enjoying lunch onboard as the train proceeds to Chikamagaluru. Overnight ONBOARD as the train heads to Hampi. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: (WEDNESDAY) HAMPI
After an early breakfast onboard you will be taken to visit the Hampi scattered ruins of palaces, sculptures and temples. Enjoy a cultural event in the evening. Overnight ONBOARD as the train proceeds to Badami. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: (THURSDAY) BADAMI
After breakfast you will have the option to visit the Badami Caves (there will be 200 hundred steps to climb). After lunch onboard visit Pattadakal and Aiole. You will return to the train for dinner onboard before your overnight train journey to Goa. (B, L, D)

DAY 6: (FRIDAY) GOA
After breakfast you will be taken to visit the Churches of North Goa and Museum. Deboard the train in the evening for a Bollywood show and dinner at a hotel. return to the train in the evening and proceed to Bengaluru overnight. (B, L, D)

DAY 7: (SATURDAY) BENGALURU
Enjoy breakfast onboard before returning to Yeshwantpur Railway Station, which will mark the end of your train journey. (B)
