Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest national parks in Northern India, best known for its tigers and one of the best places in India to see them. A good time to visit Ranthambore National Park is between November and May when deciduous forests (once part of the magnificent Jungles of Central India) dry out, making it easier to see the animals. Other major wildlife to look out for include leopard, nilgai, dhole, wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and chital, as well as a wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles.
