DAY 1: (SATURDAY) DEPART DELHI
Today, after completing your registration, you will board the train in Delhi and head to Sawai Madhopur, departing at 18:00. Enjoy dinner ON-BOARD. (D)
DAY 2: (SUNDAY) SAWAI MADHOPUR
After breakfast on-board, you will visit Sawai Madhopur. Here, enjoy a safari in Ranthambore National Park with the opportunity to spot tigers in their natural environment. Afters, visit a local village before returning to the train. (B, L, D)
DAY 3: (MONDAY) JAIPUR
Today you will arrive in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Visit the many forts of the “Pink City”, the Hawa Mahal and City Palace, as well as the city’s lively markets. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: (TUESDAY) AGRA
This morning at dawn, you will visit the Taj Mahal. Afterwards, you will proceed to the captivating Agra Fort, returning to the train at the conclusion of your visit. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: (WEDNESDAY) GWALIOR – ORCHHA
Arrive in Gwalior, located in Madhya Pradesh. Famous for its spectacular architecture, you will spendthe morning exploring Gwalior Fort. Afterwards return to the train to visit Orchha, where you will have to chance to explore the fort complex and temples. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: (THURSDAY) KHAJURAHO
Explore the famous Khajuraho World Heritage sites, a mix of spectacular Hindu and Jain temples. Afterwards, return to the train. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: (FRIDAY) VARANASI
Today you will arrive in Varanasi, on of the world’s oldest living cities. Explore this holy place and its significance, visiting temples, ghats and bazaars, and enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges River. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: (SATURDAY) DELHI
Today, you will arrive in Delhi which will mark the end of the journey. (B)
