Best of Leh and Ladakh

DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival at Delhi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle. Overnight at your HOTEL.

DAY 2: DELHI – LEH
This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Leh (not included), where on arrival, at Leh airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink, relax and allow yourself to acclimatise to the high altitude of the area. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: LEH
After breakfast, you will leave for a full day tour of Leh. Visit the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Sangam View where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. Enjoy an afternoon visit to the Shanti Stupa, located on the hilltop at Changspa and the Leh Palace built in the 17th Century as a royal residence. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: LEH – PANGONG – LEH
Today you will leave for a full day excursion to Pangong Lake. Drive past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thikse, along the Chang La Pass which despite its great elevation is one of the easier passes. Discover the ancient temple at Tangse, just beyond the foot of the pass. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: LEH – NUBRA
In the morning, you will be driven to Nubra Valley via the Khardung La pass. On arrival in Nubra Valley, continue on to Diskit, passing the Khalsar Bridge on your way to visiting the Monastery. From the Monastery, you will drive on to Hunder where you may see a few double humped, hairy Bactrian camels. Overnight at your camp (B, L, D).

DAY 6: NUBRA – LEH
Today you will have an early morning drive back to Leh, with the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B, L, D)

DAY 7: LEH – DELHI
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi (not included). On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, with an optional tour of Delhi. Overnight at your HOTEL. (B)

DAY 8: DEPART DELHI
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi airport. If your flight is in the evening, you could do the optional city tour of Delhi, this morning. (B)
