 When

Small Group East Africa Safari

June is the beginning of the dry season and a popular time to explore the Serengeti.  Departure is set for the end of the month, which is the best time to sight herds of wildebeest as they move from the Western corridor to cross the Grumeti River. Not for the faint of heart, these animals navigate threats such as drowning as well as crocodiles in order to complete their annual migration.

Richard’s East Africa Migration Safari

During August, the herds head north towards the plains of the Mara. Arrive as the plains begin to fill with wildebeest, zebra and grazing animals. This is an incredible opportunity to witness the spectacular phenomenon that is the wildebeest migration.
