MV Plancius

The ice-strengthened M/V Plancius is an ideal ship for polar expeditions, accommodating 116 passengers in 53 cabins all with private bathrooms. There are 6 types of cabins from which to choose; quad, triple, twin porthole, twin window, deluxe and superior. The ship offers a restaurant/lecture room on deck 3 and a spacious observation lounge and bar on deck 5 with large windows, offering full panoramic views. There are large open deck spaces on deck 3 allowing guests excellent opportunities to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. M/V Plancius is equipped with 10x Mark V zodiacs, with 40 HP 4-stroke outboard engines. There are 2 gangways on the starboard side, guaranteeing swift zodiac operation.
