Ocean Nova

The Ocean Nova is one of the vessels used for the fly/cruise expeditions in Antarctica. It is a modern and comfortable ship built in Denmark in 1992. Fully refurbished in 2006, her ice-strengthened hull is ideally suited for expeditions in Antarctica. Ocean Nova accommodates 68 passengers in comfortable outside cabins with private facilities (single, twin and triple) and has a glass-enclosed observation lounge, dining room, bar, library, small gym, infirmary and a fleet of Zodiac boats ideal for cruising and wildlife watching. The departures in 2023/24 include a return flight between Punta Arenas in Chile and King George Island in the South Shetland archipelago and is ideal for those wanting to avoid the notorious Drake Passage.
